One attribute that African-Americans have continuously given to American
society is very beautiful music.
Soul music has been around for over half a decade. The genre of soul music
is influenced by the charismatic and heart-pouring singing styles of black
gospel music of the early and mid 1900s and is an offspring of early rhythm
and blues music of the 1950s. more

For the award for an Actress in a Supporting Role, the nominees are…
• Cate Blanchett/“The Aviator”
• Laura Linney/“Kinsey”
• Virginia Madsen/“Sideways”
• Sophie Okonedo/“Hotel Rwanda”
• Natalie Portman/“Closer”
This is the toughest category to choose, but I think the winner of this
award will be Cate Blanchett for “The Aviator.” more
