After a long vacation from the hustle and bustle of last semester, students
are back in classes and need to get accustomed to a new routine. Why not
make a stop into the art gallery to help break up your routine?
The Walter E. Terhune gallery, located in the Center for Fine and Performing
Arts (CFPA), allows students to view art created by the talented members
of the Owens Community College faculty. What better way to start the semester
than with the great work of our own beloved Owens art faculty?
The faculty show features photography (in all forms), drawing, painting,
lithography, 2-D designs/graphics, ceramic sculpture, glass pieces, and
even some jewelry. With the variety and quality of the work, you’re
bound to enjoy this show. The faculty exhibit runs from Jan. 17 through
the 19 of Feb., with the opening reception on Fri., Jan. 21.
For more information call the Walter E. Terhune Gallery at (567) 661-2721.
