Faculty Contract Extended
Owens faculty and administration have agreed to a contract extension following a long period of negotiations including a fact-finding report that was rejected by the Owens Faculty Association.
The tentative contract gives a 5 percent pay increase to all bargaining unit members, retroactive to Feb. 2004 with a 4 percent salary increase in Feb. 2005.

Attention Findlay Campus
Student Government meetings are now linked to the Findlay Campus through videoconference.
Anyone on Findlay Campus interested in joining Student Government no longer needs to drive to Toledo for meetings.
Meetings are linked to Findlay’s room 179 8:00-10:00 am Tuesday morning.

Findlay Transfer Fair
There will be a transfer fair on the Findlay Campus Feb. 16 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and Feb. 21 from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
The eight schools present will be Bowling Green State University, University of Toledo, Tiffin University, Bluffton University, Heidelberg College, Lourdes College, University of Findlay and Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Using Express IDs
Financial Aid cannot be used to purchase food. In order to use an Express ID card for food purchases, money must be added to the card via one of the many Value Transfer Stations located around campus.

Students Buy Cheaper Books
In response to Student Government’s movement for 5 percent off textbook prices, 150 students purchased books online and received the discount.
The service was available to all students and Student Government hopes more students will participate in the future and take advantage of the cheaper textbook prices.
