The Owens Outlook is produced by Owens Community College students from a variety of program areas.
Students who work for The Outlook investigate and cover current events at Owens and in the surrounding communities, everything from the arts to sports. The stories and photos are produced entirely by students or used with permission from MCT Campus, our wire service.

The Outlook is a great way to get involved on campus, meet a lot of cool people and build a portfolio – and it looks GREAT on resumes, especially for journalism majors. This group is for anyone interested in journalism, communications, graphic design, editing, photography, and the newspaper in general. You don’t have to be a journalism major to join the paper. Anyone and everyone is welcome.

The Outlook Submission Policy
The Outlook welcomes letters to the editor and guest columns that include the sender’s full name, phone number and an accurate e-mail address. Students should also include their year and program of study. Letters and guest columns may be edited for grammar, spelling, punctuation and length without notice.

The Owens Outlook is the student run newspaper for Owens Community College. The goal of the newspaper is to inform students of information relevant to them and to be the student voice. The Owens Outlook provides information, ideas, and entertainment to students, staff, and faculty. The views expressed may or may not be shared by the newspaper, staff, and college.
