Over 40 area residents recently were honored for achieving academic excellence as Owens Community College served as host to its third annual GED Graduation Ceremony.
Graduates received their Ohio High School Equivalence Diploma, also known as the General Educational Development (GED) Diploma, as part of the celebration. Shelly Taylor and Liyaquat Qurbanali were selected as the student class representatives and addressed the graduates as keynote speakers during the event. Owens Community College will offer area soccer players the opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of the sport as women’s soccer hosts three separate Express Soccer Youth Camps, June 25-29.
The Express women’s soccer program will offer two separate camp sessions starting June 25.
