Music and laughter fill the air at this year’s Spring Fling

Owens’ students and their families enjoyed an afternoon of food, friendship and fun at this year’s Spring Fling.
This year’s Spring Fling featured food, music, carnival style games as well as hands on events such as extreme trampoline and a mechanical steer. After taking part in the wall climb and strongman events, Ben Bembry a student here at Owens stated; “This is an awesome event. The Owens’ community coming together, and taking a break from studying for exams.”

PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio – The Owens Community College Alpha Omega Pi Student Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society is encouraging area residents to help in the fight against hunger by donating a canned good as part of an initiative titled “Project Graduation: Feed a Body, Feed a Mind” on Friday, May 3.

PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Owens Community College’s Environmental Club is encouraging area residents to bring their used denim jeans, jackets and purses of any particular color to the Toledo-area and Findlay-area campuses in support of environmental awareness as the student group hosts its fourth annual “Recycle Your Denim” Collection Drive, April 22-26.

PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Owens Community College’s Environmental Club is encouraging area residents to bring their used electronic devices to the Toledo-area Campus in support of environmental awareness as the student group serves as host to an “E-Waste” Collection Drive on Tuesday, April 23. FINDLAY, Ohio – Area residents are encouraged to help in saving lives as the Owens Community College Findlay-area Campus and the American Red Cross host a community Blood Drive on Wednesday, April 24
